Eighth graduation dinner recap
The 8th Grade Graduation Dinner, held May 10th, is a long-standing GMC tradition! The
7th grade students raised money by hosting the 2017 Halloween Carnival to pay for the
dinner. The 7th grade parents and students decorated the Parish Center, transforming it
into a beautiful setting for the event. Appetizers were prepared by the 7th grade parents
and a beautiful catered dinner was served. The 7th grade students served as waiters for
the evening and they do a beautiful job!
During the event, the 8th grade academic awards were presented by Ms. Lopez and Mrs.
Rast. The 7th graders presented a “future newspaper” to the 8th grade students and the
8th grade students present their “wills and testaments” to the 7th grade students. This
year’s event was a lot of fun and enjoyed by all. Special thanks to all who contributed.
